# Fifteen years chasing light from the red soils of the outback to the snows of Sweden.

Red Dust Snowtm best describes my passion for photography and travel writing and the journeys (literal and figurative) I have experienced while evolving from a hobbyist to a professional photographer. This journey has so far taken over fifteen years.

The name ‘Red Dust Snowtm’ sums up the diverse region of the Murray–Darling Basin, from the iconic red soils of the western region of the catchment to the snow-covered mountains of eastern and southeast Australia.

My love for snow (and things sub-zero) is also connected to the birthplace of my late partner, Elenor, Sweden. Sverige is a place I fell in love with, where we have lived and photographed extensively.
